I got some terrible news the other day. Three Airman who I worked with at Aviano were killed in a helicopter crash. Kenny Hauprich, Mark Spence, and Rob Rogers were taking an "incentive" flight which is a ride in a military aircraft. Their Blackhawk helicopter crashed 22 miles from the base with 6 of the 11 crew dead on impact. It's hard to believe. Kenny must have been the youngest kid in the military. I feel so bad for their families.

What a crap shoot life is. Tell your wife, kids, significant other you love them today.

Luddite

After wanting one few a few years I scored two dial telephones cheap on e bay. There's just something satisfying to me to hear a bell ringing and hold a real telephone instead of some cheesy piece of wireless electronic junk made in China.
